ONE OF THE THINGS THAT MAKES LIVING HERE REALLY A GREAT PLACE TO LIVE. LET ME TELL YOU WHO I SEE ON THE PATHWAYS. I SEE MY NEIGHBORS.

SOME OF THEM ELDERLY. I SEE YOUNG MOTHERS PUSHING THEIR BABIES AND CARRIAGES. I SEE YOUNG KIDS ON THEIR WAY TO GLADYS ELEMENTARY SCHOOL IN MY NEIGHBORHOOD RIDING THEIR BICYCLES OR WALKING. I SEE PEOPLE WALKING THEIR DOGS . I SEE PEOPLE AFTER WORK IN THE EVENING OUT WITH THEIR FAMILIES WALKING ON THE TRAILS. I ALSO SEE MOTORIZED VEHICLES, ESPECIALLY SCOOTERS.

AS YOU KNOW, THE TRAILS IN THE WOODLANDS, PATHWAYS IN THE WOODLANDS WERE DESIGNED PRIMARILY FOR WALKING, BICYCLING AND JOGGING. THEY ARE NOT DESIGNED FOR MOTORIZED VEHICLES. THERE ARE SIGNS ON THE PATHWAYS THAT SAY, NO MOTORIZED VEHICLES.

THE TRAILS ARE NOT WIDE ENOUGH. IF TWO PEOPLE WALK AND SOMEONE IS COMING IN THE OTHER DIRECTION, YOU CAN PASS.

IF THERE ARE TWO PEOPLE, YOU HAVE TO MOVE OVER.

WITH THE CURVES IN THE TRAILS TO MAKE WAY FOR TREES, YOU DON'T HAVE ALONGSIDE DISTANCE IN MANY CASES.
