IN THIS PROCLAMATION I WILL TALK ABOUT A SPECIFIC TIMEFRAME OF WHAT THEY WENT THROUGH, THOSE OF US THAT SAW IT ON TV, SAW THE CUBICLES, HOW HARD IT WAS TO GET INTO THOSE INDIVIDUAL SPACES, BREAKING GLASS, JUST AMAZING. BE IT PROCLAIMED THE WOODLANDS TOWNSHIP FIRE DEPARTMENT IS COMMITTED TO PROVIDING SUPERIOR EMERGENCY SERVICE AND LIKE SAFETY EDUCATION TO THE COMMUNITY, UTILIZING A HIGHLY SKILLED PROFESSIONAL WORKFORCE AND DEMONSTRATING CARE FOR OUR CITIZENS AND EACH OTHER.

CELEBRATING ITS 50TH ANNIVERSARY . WHEREAS THE THE WOODLANDS FIRE DEPARTMENT IS STAFFED WITH FULL-TIME COMMISSION FIREFIGHTERS, EMERGENCY MEDICAL TECHNICIANS ON DUTY 24 HOURS A DAY, SEVEN DAYS A WEEK WHO ARE FULLY TRAINED TO RESPOND TO A WIDE VARIETY OF EMERGENCIES INCLUDING COLLAPSED RESCUE, FIRE, HAZARDOUS MATERIAL EMERGENCIES, I ANGLE RESCUE, MEDICAL CAUSE, SWIFT WATER RESCUE, TRENCH RESCUE AND WHEREAS ON FEBRUARY 7, 2024, THE THE WOODLANDS FIRE DEPARTMENT RESPONDERS TO A FIVE ALARM FIRE AT KEEPS MY STORAGE SELF STORAGE , ON SAWDUST WROTE, ONE OF THE THREE BIGGEST FIRES IN THE AREA. THIS CENTURY . WITH OVER 100 FIREFIGHTERS, NINE LETTER TRUCKS, 22 INCHES, MULTIPLE SUPPORT UNITS AND CHIEF OFFICERS CALLED TO THE SCENE WHICH CONTINUED INTO THE MORNING OF FEBRUARY 8, 2024. WHEREAS, THE HEIGHT. OF THE FIRE THE WOODLANDS FIRE DEPARTMENT HAD TWO FIRETRUCKS, 6 INCHES, TWO CHIEF OFFICERS, HAZMAT TRUCK, A RESCUE TRUCK, TWO DRONES AND GAINS IN FIREFIGHTING OPERATIONS, FURTHERMORE EVERY DEPARTMENT IN MONTGOMERY COUNTY AND MANY FROM NORTH HARRIS COUNTY HAD UNITS EITHER AT THE FIRE OR FILLING IN AT THE STATIONS IN THE WOODLANDS AND SOUTH MONTGOMERY COUNTY. WHEREAS EACH FIRE FIRE ENTERING THE BURNING STORAGE UNITS WITHOUT THOUGHT TO PERSONAL SAFETY EXEMPLIFY DEVOTION TO THEIR DUTY AND THEIR PROFESSIONS AND RECOGNITION THAT EVERY DAY THE WOODLANDS FIRE DEPARTMENT PERSONNEL ANSWER THE CALLS TO PROVIDE EMERGENCY SERVICE , PROTECTION TO THE RESIDENCE OF THE WOODLANDS AND SURROUNDING COMMUNITIES WITHOUT SEEKING RECOGNITION IN RETURN.

SO PRECLEAR WE HAVE AN ACTIVE FAULT ALTHOUGH THE MOVEMENT WAS VERY SMALL. YOU MAY REMEMBER DR. THIS IS A VERY INTERESTING PHENOMENON, BECAUSE THE GROUP , THE COMPANY THAT WAS ASKED TO EVALUATE WHETHER THE PANTHER BRANDT FAULT REPRESENTED A SAFETY RISK TO THE PIPELINE -- THERE IS A 42 INCH, UNPROTECTED PIPE THAT CROSSES THE PANTHER RANCH FAULT UNDER THE ENTRANCE TO THE HIGH SCHOOL . CURRENTLY THERE IS NOT ANY SAFE PASSAGE BY FOOT OUT OF OUR NEIGHBORHOOD. IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO HAVE OUR CHILDREN CROSS FOUR LANES OF TRAFFIC ONTO GOSLIN ROAD TO PLAY AT ONE OF OUR VILLAGE PARKS. SO WE ARE SPECIFICALLY ASKING FOR A PATHWAY CONNECTING THE WOODLANDS RESERVE TO FRONTAGE ROAD AND A SECONDARY PATH TO THE FIRE STATION NUMBER 8 ON GOSLING ROAD SO THAT WE CAN UTILIZE THE EXISTING TRAFFIC IKES TO CROSS THE STREET WITH THE ADDITION OF A CROSSWALK TO DESIGNATE THE PATH OF TRAVEL.
