I SUGGEST USING LAKE PALOMA AND ONE OF THE TWO OPTIONS, DIVERTING WATER AND INSTALLING WELLS IS THE MOST VIABLE OPTION. SOMETIMES TWICE A DAY WHEN I HAVEN'T LINED UP ENOUGH ACTIVITIES. MANY, MANY TIMES WE HAVE HAD TO CUT OUR VISITS TO THE PARK SHORT BECAUSE THERE ARE NO BATHROOMS. AS YOU CAN IMAGINE, MY FAMILY WAS VERY EXCITED WHEN WE HEARD THAT THE TOWNSHIP HAD PRIORITIZED OUR BELOVED LITTLE NEIGHBORHOOD PARK TO GET THESE AWESOME BATHROOM FACILITIES ADDED. YOU KNOW, IT IS NOT JUST LITTLE KIDS WHO NEED ACCESS TO BATHROOMS. WHEN I WAS PREGNANT, I FREQUENTLY NEEDED TO GET TO A BATHROOM QUICKLY. THE ELDERLY, PEOPLE WITH CERTAIN DISABILITIES, RUNNERS, CYCLISTS, JUST PEOPLE IN GENERAL, NEED ACCESS TO BATHROOMS. AND WE BELIEVE THAT ALL OF US WOULD BENEFIT IF BATHROOMS WOULD BE ADDED TO CAPSTONE PARK. SOME OF MY NEIGHBORS HAVE CONCERNS THAT THERE WILL BE INCREASED INCIDENTS OF SEX, DRUGS, AND VIOLENCE IN THE BATHROOMS, IF THEY ARE ADDED TO THE PARK. AND I BELIEVE THESE FEARS TO BE UNFOUNDED, AND I WOULD ASK FOR THE SUPPORT OF THE TOWNSHIP IN HELPING US FIND THAT DATA SO THAT WE CAN EVIDENCE PERHAPS THAT SEX, DRUGS, AND VIOLENCE AND ARRESTS RELATED TO THOSE INCIDENTS IN WOODLANDS PARK ARE NOT SOMETHING THAT WE NEED TO BE EXCESSIVELY CONCERNED ABOUT. AND LAST, I REALLY WANTED TO MENTION THAT MY HUSBAND AND I CHOSE THE WOODLANDS AS OUR... THE LOCATION FOR OUR FOREVER HOME IN LARGE PART, BECAUSE WE WERE SO IMPRESSED BY THE BEAUTIFUL AND EXTENSIVE NETWORK OF PARKS AND AMENITIES THAT THE TOWNSHIP MAKES AVAILABLE TO THE PUBLIC. WE LOVE THAT THE PARKS BUILD THS SENSE OF COMMUNITY AND INVITE PEOPLE FROM OTHER VILLAGES OF THE WOODLANDS TO COME TO THE PARK. AND YES, SOMETIMES THERE ARE PEOPLE FROM OUTSIDE OF THE WOODLANDS WHO ATTEND. WE LOVE MEETING THEM AT THE PARK, TOO. AT CAPSTONE PARK, WE RARELY SEE INDIVIDUALS AT THE PLAYGROUND, AND SO WHEN PEOPLE ARE THERE, AND EDDIE MAKES A NEW FRIEND FROM PERHAPS INDIAN SPRINGS OR PANTHER CREEK, WE ARE SO EXCITED TO MEET SOMEONE NEW. WHERE ARE WE USING WATER? THERE HAVE BEEN A NUMBER OF INITIATIVES TO TRY TO REALLY MANAGE THE NUMBER... THE AMOUNT OF WATER THAT WE ARE USING. AND THERE WERE LIMITS ON PUM PUMPING. THE GRP CAME INTO FRUITION WHICH USES MIXED WATER FROM THE LAKE AS WELL AS WELL WATER. THERE IS ALSO A MORE RECENT CONCERN ABOUT SUBSIDENCE IF THE COMMUNITY. WE, IN 2011, INITIATED AND KICKED OFF A DROUGHT MANAGEMENT PLAN. THIS LOOKED AT THE TOWNSHIP'S USE OF WATER. AND WE MIMIC VARIOUS STAGES THAT THE WOODLANDS WATER AS WELL AS MUD 36 ACTUALLY HAS IN TERMS OF DROUGHT RESTRICTIONS. IRONICALLY, WE ARE ACTUALLY STILL IN A DROUGHT RESTRICTION IN MUD 386. IT IS A VOLUNTARY COMPLIANCE. IT WAS ISSUED IN JUNE, 2022. JUNE 28, 2022. AND HAS NOT BEEN RESCINDED. SO WE ARE VERY CONSCIOUS ABOUT WATER RESTRICTIONS. WE WORK WELL WITH WGPA, WITH THE MUDS. AND THIS IS BASICALLY A BEST PRACTICE WHEN WE ARE LOOKING AT HOW TO USE WATER. SPECIFICALLY, THE CONCERN, AND THIS IS A LITTLE PASSAGE FROM IT, I BELIEVE IT IS ATTACHMENT A IN THE PRESENTATION. IF THIS POND HAS A POTENTIAL TO TURN. HAMLIN POND AND TWIN PONDS, WEST OF KIRKEN DAHL, THEY ARE LAGGING BEHIND STILL. THERE IS A UNIQUE ASPECT TO THOSE PONDS. THE ACTUAL OVERFLOW, THE MAX HEIGHT OF THE POND, IS ALMOST AT THE STREET LEVEL. SO IT IS DESIGNED AS SUCH. THOSE NUMBERS A LITTLE BIT MISLEADING. THE INVESTIGATION REVEALED THAT THE CHILD BELIEVED SHE WAS IN A ROMANTIC RELATIONSHIP WITH THE DEFENDANT. THE CHARGE OF SEXUAL ABUSE OF CHILDREN WAS FILED. FIRST-DEGREE FELONY.
